Royal Homes Makes $100,000 Donation to Wingham Hospital Redevelopment
Royal Homes Makes $100,000 Donation to Wingham Hospital Redevelopment

Royal Homes has joined the ever growing group of significant donors to the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation’s Our Hospital, Our Future campaign with a $100,000 pledge. This is a major donation that will be pledged by Doug Kuyvenhoven, Hans and Gerrie Kuyvenhoven, Klaas Jorritsma and Pieter Venema of Royal Homes over the next five years.

Doug Kuyvenhoven feels strongly that local businesses and individuals are responsible for the future of local healthcare and he is hoping that Royal Homes’ $100,000 will set an example for others to also commit their donations to the Our Hospital, Our Future project. Campaign Chair Mark Foxton was on hand at Royal Homes on June 9th to accept the donation and commented that Royal Homes builds the places where our friends, families and neighbours live and the Hospital cares for them “together we are building a community that will last for generations and this donation exemplifies that connection.

The Our Hospital, Our Future Campaign is a $4 million capital fundraising campaign supporting the expansion of essential healthcare infrastructure at the Wingham & District Hospital. The campaign team has now raised well over 65% of the goal and is encouraging all members of the community to make their contributions to the campaign and be part of protecting and promoting high quality, community-minded healthcare.
